At Silverplume Press, we tell stories, and that includes on film and in collaboration with others. We’re so proud of this award-winning documentary film, “Conviction: the Steve Genter Story” from BBSG - Beyond Bronze, Silver, and Gold.

Silverplume Press collaborated with America SCORES Bay Area and DAndrews Photography to capture the story of Bridgette Marin, an 8th-grader from San Francisco named to the US Soccer National U14 Women's Team. An America SCORES poet-athlete, Bridgette's words and athletic achievements strike wonder.

Sometimes we get a request for something a little different at Silverplume. A novelist client approached Silverplume with a tantalizing challenge. Embarking on the start of a trilogy about two interconnected families stretched across three generations and two continents, he needed deep background research. Best of all, he wanted to draw on his own sprawling family's densely woven stories. His novels would be informed by their dramatic experiences and by the history of that time.

EXIT 226 for Silver Plume had always seemed something of an afterthought, easy to overlook and overshadowed by the more bustling exits for nearby Georgetown and Idaho Springs. Silver Plume was one of those exit names that just drifted through your thoughts, lingering a moment, but rarely exerting a pull off course. Lesson learned: Explore the side roads.
